I am sick yet again. I JUST got over this crap two weeks ago and now I have it again. It's the whole sore throat, stuffy/runny nose, puffy eyes junk. AND since I won't take any meds it seems like I keep it for weeks. I am having a c-section in four weeks so this crap better not last long!! Any of you have any suggestions to help me? I run a humidifier, use a Netti pot, breathe steam, drink a ton of water...is there anything I am missing?
Unfortunately it's allergy season, and unless you can find something that works, you might have it until everything stops blooming. :(
LOL! I'm sorry! have you tried Zyrtec?

Could it be allergies?? I don't usually have puffy eyes w/colds.. I am in the same boat as you tho (minus the c-sec)! I'm 35wks and have a cold that is being passed around the office and it's just friggin annoying!
Not sure if you can take this while you are pregnant but have you ever tried elderberry syrup, it's natural and really helps my kids and I. Try putting rosemary oil in the shower and running it's all the way on hot and sit in there for twenty minutes. Or put eucalyptus oil in the humidifier! Cough drops are fine to take while pregnant too...sorry it's all I've got!
Try LOTS of green tea decaf. It usually kicks that crap right out of my system.
