Who thinks doctors are afraid of pregnant women?

Haha, no I'm not talking about the OB.. I went to see my regular doctor today.. I'm having pain/tingling in my left index finger.

She basically told me that she doesn't know what it is.. I can try to rest it, stretch it, ice/heat it, and call her if it gets worse. It could be carpal tunnel, a tendon problem, cellulotis (some sort of infection below the skin), or just from gaining 5 pounds in the last month//

So helpful.

Anyone else not get any answers from their regular doctor while pregnant?

I was so glad with my first pregnancy my OB doctor was also my regular DR lol. He had been my DR since before I was born. He delivered me when my mom was pregnant and was my DR my whole life and then my OB DR with my daughter haha so I have no experience so far with a regular DR vs OB doctor....

My Ob sees me for pretty much anything while I'm pregnant, and I usually just email him and ask his advice on stuff when I'm not pregnant. I don't have a regular dr and I trust my OBs opinion over any other dr so I just stick with him for the most part. So far he's been able to take care of anything that's come up, pregnant or not. :-)
