anyone know?

 it is a symptom towards the end, but it is also a sign of your body getting ready for labor.  I started cramping about 2 weeks before I had her. 

I had very bad cramps at 25 weeks, it was labor, luckily this baby is holding off and I am 31 now. But apparently contractions feel period cramps a lot of the time. With my son, my contractions felt like horrific stabbing gas pains.

It could mean just about anything but near the end of my pregnancy I started cramping like a period too and I ended up later on finding out that they were the start of contractions and I was starting to dialate. Good luck.

Like MotherRachelle said it could mean a lot of things. With my two pregnancies I never felt that way but many women I have spoken to describe that before the onset of spontaneous labor.

 ive had the cramping off and on for the last 3 weeks or so. but today when i woke up it just felt like i was anout to bleed. like the feeling u get when ur layin in bed and u feel it comin and then there the blood is.  just different than i was feeling i guess!

I had  just that exact feeling when I went into labor with my first. It continuely got worse until it was timeable contractions!!! CONGRATS I bet today is your day!!

the bleeding part could mean you're going to lose your mucus plug.. and those sound like minor braxton hicks to me.

I started cramping a week ago. I am forty weeks tomorrow. It is a sign that your body is getting ready, but don't get overly excited like I did. I have been having contractions for a week now and still have yet to give birth.

 cramping is constant. i keep havin bh contractions. theyre really tight but not regular or very painful. i usually have them every night but they have been coming since i woke up this morning. im hoping it will turn itno labor! im layin around in my pjs watching new moon waiting to see if today is the day!
