idk what breastpump to get. what did you ladies get like? dislike?
i dont have the fund for a nice medela one, so i'm trying to figure out a cheaper one to get. IK i want electric, i'd preffer a double pump but a single will do just fine. so help me ladies because after reading reviews i still cant figure out what to get. they are all relativly expensive..so i dont want to have to replace it in a few months. i'm planning to pump while i work. (4 ays a week 8 hr days) and probably once or twice more so my hubby can feed our son while i'm working ( i work third)
I am getting the Medela Harmony. I have used Evenflo and Saftey First brands and they both hurt SO bad. Then I had a Gerber brand years ago and it wasnt even strong enough to bring milk down. Good luck pumps are so hard to find. I was lucky and bought the nice double electric Medela pump from a friend, she got 2 and sold me one for only $60.00. I never had any issued with it. I love it. I hope you find the best pump for you.
I got the Madela Pump in style. Loved it, had no complaints at all. Worth every penny. I just wanted to add, that if your madela was hurting you then there was something not right. The flanges may have been too small for your breasts, or it was up to high. I had to get the XL flanges because the ones that came with it gave me blisters on my nipples...that was no fun!
I LOVE my Medela Swing, and I know you said you dont have the money for an expensive one, but the swing is great, battery powered, and not as much as some of the pumps out there. Its $150, and if you get the 20% off coupon they give out often, its only $120, and then they have promotions like yesterday when you buy 2 boxes of diapers you get a $20 gift card....I dont know other than that, I hope you can find a good one!
I had a Playtex one and didn't like it, it didn't work for me BUT I know 2 other ladies who used the same one and LOVED it..
