I had my 20 wk ultrasound recently and was so dissapointed that the baby had the legs crossed and the umbilical cord was right between the legs. It was impossible to determine the sex. I am glad that the baby is very healthy and everything seems to be well. At my last DR visit, they told me that it looked like it could be a girl because we got a view from her bottom and the legs were at a V, this was at 16 weeks. We didn't see anything sticking out so the DR said if she had to guess, she would say it was a girl. I think I'll continue to go by that and assume I'm having a girl until something changes. I was really hoping to know for sure but the baby was just not going to cooperate. Shy I guess. Anyway, just wanted to share. I'll just have to hang in there and be patient.

Having a surprise is alot of fun!! I'm on my 3rd little surprise. We didn't find out with any of them and it's really cool. My husband and I had a feeling with the first 2 as to what they were and we were right and this time we are thinking boy so we'll see. It really is a cool feeling when you finally have the baby and you find out then what the sex is and especially when your gut feeling was right. It's a lot of fun!! Just make the best of it!!

I had the same thing happen with my daughter. But, I was lucky, They had me get up, walk around go to the bathroom and when I came back, the cord had moved enough to she she was indeed a girl. My gut was right yet again! I wonder if it'll be right with this baby. Right now I'm hoping it's a boy.
What does your gut say?
