Yeap I got that rule and yes I followed it for the most part. I would drive from our driveway to my moms which is the next drive way over but that was it!! The problem is you could have a complication and pass our or something at the wheel and put you and your baby in harms way!

Never heard that rule before. With my son I was driving within days. But I had an easy birth and recovery and no pain meds afterwards.

Yea i was told that after i had my daughter but my husband had to leave for iraq after our daughter was born so i was driving after a week.  It was no big deal, i had no problems driving.  And i'll be driving after my son is born too b/c we're in the same situation with the deployments.  My mom will probably drive me home from the hospital but then i'll be driving to get where i need to go.

I've never heard that.  It makes sense if you're taking pain meds, I didn't, nor did I follow it!

I was told that with all of my kids, but I didn't stick to it at all. I drove home from the hospital after my second baby and after my c section for my twins.
