does anyone believe in the old wives' tale about a baby's heartrate in utero being a way to determine gender?? i do, in a way... idk what Bean is yet (find out june 30th!), but the HR has been between 140-160ish. any thoughts????

I guess I don't know...I have three girls...and my current pregnancy, we thought she was a boy too because of the low heart rate.

Nope... it's a wives tale. This baby I'm pregnant with now has ranged from 146 - 179. So nope... it makes no difference at all.

Supposedly girls are 140+, but this baby (a boy 100%) has had a heartbeat of 155-170 the entire pregnancy.

I did and it turned out to be right for me... She was high 150s to about 164 but I've heard of others having different experiences.... I tried some of the tests online and they all came out girl so guess it depends :)
