When my water broke (and gushed) I was only dilated 1 cm.

Yes.

Since we're not supposed to check dilation we can have our water break and assume we might be a little bit at least, but we should not be probing in there, lol.

I was gushing when mine broke so maybe I was a bit dilated...    ?

I was JUST thinking about this. I mean with your cervix closed tight, you would think nothing would come out, right? I was thinking about it because ill randomly get a feeling like when you push a cup to the bottom of the tub, then tilt it a little and air bubbles escape in my uterus area several times a day.. brushed it off as my bowels echoing off my uterus :) im going to ask my dr about it next time I go in.. even though that's not until the 6th.

When you have your period every month the blood trickles out, right?
So fluid can escape.

Movement can feel like bubbles, but of course there aren't actual bubbles in there.   ;-)
The intestines can be more gassy in pregnancy and they are wrapped around the uterus...
