any suggestions on how to help with back cramps while sleeping? im 19 weeks and have tired everything i can think of, the pillow between the legs, sleeping more up right and every position i can think of. and nothing helps, i wake up with this pain in my lower back and a sharp pain that goes right down my left side starting in my kidney area, and i know it isnt my kidney, but it goes from there to my hip and i cant move.

have you tried sleeping on the sofa? I need a firmer mattress when I am preggy. We have a tempurpedic now, but before I used to sleep on the sofa to help my back pain.
