Don't forget your toiletries... the ones my hospital gave were crap and it was just nice to have my own.

O and how long did it take you to recover? My HB only has 2-3 days off

I was induced at 42 weeks and was still in labor for over 30 hours...pushed for over 4...and wound up having to have a forceps deliver, but it is different for everyone...

Don't forget chapstick, cell phone and charger, and some snacks if you think it is going to be a long labor, they put you on a liquid diet when you start pitocin.

Take a few changes of clothes and shampoo and all the things you might want if you were going to stay in a hotel for a week.

Good luck!
