I'm really searching for a different name for our baby, our boy name is pretty much set but Im having a hard time with girl names. I came across the name Luca and I think it is so pretty. What do you ladies think and do you have examples of different names??

I like different names too. I like Luca a lot, i love "L" names! Some I had picked were Lucy and Luna. So thats very similar. I had decided on the name Freya though, but ended up having a boy!

I love the name Luca!  My brother has a good friend from Italy with that name.

I think Luca is traditionally a boys name. For girls I like Lucia.

My nephews name is Luca.. He'll be 4 in December... Everyone that meets him LOVES his name... My sis went to Italy on business and met someone with that name and fell in love with it! I like it!

I'm so glad you said that, I know it is actually a boy name but I think it totally works for a girl....especially since it ends with an "a"!

I like it, it's feminine and I think it would work for her from infancy all the way through adulthood.

Actually it's unisex, and can be spelled Luca or Luka. I think it's cute.
