I smoked on and off with my first, but I try not to inhale, so I don't suppose that counts.

I was about 9 or 10 weeks when I went cold turkey. I am happy I did, but I am now coughing up chunky grey and black mucus... It's good because my lungs are healing themselves...

I am 22 weeks now, btw...

You can do it!! Think of your little bumpkin !

My first pregnancy I smoked half way through. My second pregnancy I smoked all the way through. This pregnancy I quit smoking before conception and won't ever pick it back up. The only difference I've found is that my girls weighted a pound less than my current in the womb child weights now.

i have never smoked. what to expect gives a whole list of what can happen to your baby if you smoke and what can happen if you continue to smoke afterwards. my ss's mom smoked her way through with him and he has just about everything on that list to some extent.
