Bad Migraines

Lately, I've been getting really bad headaches. They start late afternoon and last until I go to bed at night. My doctor says I can take alieve for the next 60 days and then tylenol only after that. I'm so scared of taking any medicine (first pregnancy paranoia) that I've just been toughing it out, but it's really getting to be a problem.

Anybody got any natural remedies or should I just get over my fear and take medicine?

Have you thought of anything that could be triggering your headaches? Are you eating right? If you know when a headache is coming on get a cool compress and lie down. I went through the same thing during the first week of finding out I was pregnant. If they get to be too much I would suggest you speak with your doctor.

i don't know what's causing it, but the longer i lay down waiting for it to go away the worse it gets.

It may be a combo of many things. My headache was so severe I had to go to the ER. They gave me morphine and still didnt go away. They told me headaches were some pregnant womens morning sickness. But I would speak with my doctor about it if they become to unbearable.

I have the same problem right now, I just posted about it a day or two ago.  I know your vision can get worse while expecting I would start there, by making an appt with your eye dr and tell him/her your expecting and explain the headaches and maybe all it is, is you needing some glasses for now.  Did you used to drink caffeine products before and now stop?  What about your blood pressure?  Alot of different things can be the cause you can try to drink some coke or pepsi to help it helps me at times but other times does nothing. I WONT take any drugs for it because like you I'm scared and this is my 3rd lol hang in there and make sure you talk to your dr and go see your eye dr because it could have to do with your vision getting worse just from the baby
