Baby Shower Favors/Activities **UPDATE**

Hey Ladies! Another baby shower question, which may come in handy to others...

So my question is - what favors have you all either given, received, seen or thought of giving for a baby shower? So far, I'm thinking the either "It's a boy" or "It's a girl" candy when I find out, and I'm going to make homemade mini cupcakes and put sprinkles on top that are baby colors (baby pink, baby blue, baby green and instead of yellow, a variety).

What other favors would you suggest?

Another thing I thought of, but more as a "guest book" than a favor, was getting a few white onesies, fabric paint and markers, and letting the guests decorate it and sign it, put words, etc, as a "guest book". What are your opinions?

**UPDATE**

Ok so here's my update - we're doing my baby shower outside, therefore only doing one game. My cousin and I, who are mainly planning the shower, decided to have a "craft/creative" table instead of games. The only things we have come up with thus far, are the "onesies guestbook" idea I have above, AND letting the guests create "1st birthday cards" for the baby. What other things are there?

Really nice :)

Still do the guest book though ( u can always keep that as a memorbilia) and the onesies can be a fun artsy game.

Don't forget the dirty diaper game ( my favorite ) . If u r the artsy crafty mom, alot of this stuff u can make yourself instead of going out and buying if that's a issue.

other ideas

 cute huh ?

the diapers are passed out and whoever gets a dirty diaper is out.

If you don't have a diaper cake as the center of attention you can always have a diaper cake contest. A small buckets of dipers ( already prefolded ) . I found the most easiest diaper cake to make ( probaly 20 diapers or less ) . And a bucket of all kinds of baby decorations u can think of.  Depending on how much u buy determines how many people can play at one time. You can always take a picture of the finished project for the contest and reuse all decorations again.

Since this is our last one we are having a "welcome shower" and the baby will be present so we are giving personalized champagne bottles filled with candy.. Anything personalized is a great idea I think..And usually you can do those from home with clear labels :)

A great craft idea I heard of was letting your guest pick a number from 1-18 and then create a birthday card for the little one that corresponds to that year, or if you dont think you will keep up with them have everyone do a 1st Birthday card :)

My hostess just called me last night and asked me if I though the onesies would be a great craft for the kids to do while we were playing our games..I have two older children and a host of nieces and nephews. I LOVED IT

Also love the Guest Book :)

Here is my stuff from my last baby.  Cookies of a baby crawling and his name, cake balls, and bath salts
