Italy Simone

or

Italy Jane

I like Simone. Italy seems strange to me but really it's no different than naming your kid Asia, I guess

No reason, really. SO thought of it, because it just sounds nice. We are stuck on Simone too, I think it'll definitely be either a first or middle name. We thought of Simone Jane, but that just doesn't sound right to us..

I don't like Italy for a first name per say, maybe spelling it Italia and using the Italian pronuniciation would sound better in my opinion!

Why not? Loads of people name their little girls Ireland or London! I like Italy Simone the best!! Very uncommon but not weird! Like Apple...

Naming after places is common~   whatever, where ever as long as you like it!

The name India was in my list...

In my daughter's class at school, I think we counted at least 1/4th of the class named after a place, lol!
