Morning sickness runs in the family?

I don't think so. My mom didn't have it but I have had some sickness with my other two babies and Hyperemesis with this pregnancy.

I've also heard it runs in the family. My mom didn't get sick with me and my sisters and we were twins! My sister never got sick with either of her pregnancies and this is my first and I have not had morning sickness. When I did throw up we found out it was my prenatal pills and it was just the one time. I take them with milk now instead of water and the naseu I did have went away. Maybe it's true.

 You never know, but I had no sickness with my son and with this one at 17 weeks am still throwing up every day if I don't take meds. So not sure how that would work out.

I doubt it everyones different my mom never had any with either of her pregnancys ive been sick as a dog with both of mine some are just luckier than others i once knew a woman who said she refused to have morning sickness and saw it more as mind over matter so who knows

nope- ive been more sick then ANYONE in my family- lol YES i did call and ask like everyone including grandparents!

My mom never had it with six pregnancies. She threw up once with one of my brothers and that was because of eating gross Chinese food. I'm sick for about six months of my pregnancies.

 i've heard that before. my mom never got it and neither did i, so its true for me anyway

i don't believe its true. My mom and sister never had morning sickness or nausea. Me on the other hand got sicker than a dog both pregnancies. I got so sick it was hard for me to work the first three months because i was always sick

 I think a huge piece of that puzzle is that it's in the head. people just believe morning sickness is supposed to be part of pregnancy so they make it be a part of theirs. I'll admit I don't get it very bad..actually this time I barely got it at all but I think it's just cuz I wanted attention haha...I felt fine until husband came home then I'm all whiney and need love so I need to be sick ;)
