Why does eating salt curb nausea

everytime i am nauseous, i eat a salty cracker or chip or grilled cheese


and the salt seems to help....even a salty pickle


is there a science behind it?

 its probably because that is what ur body is craving and needing so it helps..its probably different for everyone too...with my first two i craved satly stuff and meat (steak)..this time i crave apples, pizza and kitkats..lol..if it helps eat it. as long as its not bad like laundry detergent..

I have to agree. The salt does help. Crackers are one thing we keep stocked around here. Usually it's club house or ritz though. I know it's funny but when I buy saltines they have to be the unsalted tops lol
