i know i can't be the only one. it's been making me worry for the last couple of days but i recently read it can be common. a part of my tummy on the right side of my belly botton has gone numb to the touch but underneath it i have pain. of course i'll be bringing this up to my doc at my appt next week. i read that it can be cause by a pinched nerve or baby constantly beating up on that area. any of you ladies getting numbness too in your tummy?

i never had it but I've heard about people having it because the baby is lying on a nerve

I can honestly say that I have never experienced that.  This is my 5th pregnancy.

I'm sure it could be a nerve, but I would be one to call, just in case.

I had that, too, last week. My doc appointment is tomorrow, so I'll try to remember to ask.

I asked about the numbness and the doc didn't think it was the baby lying on a nerve. Said it was probably from skin stretching.
