What are your experiences with the bumbo seat?

I never had one with my first because I hadnt even heard of them then but Ive been thinking about getting one this time around.

i like them and i think they encourage the baby to sit up alone sooner.

oh and if you get the tray attachment it doubles as a place for baby to eat snacks.

ive never had them because ive heard they can be dangerous with the baby arching their back and flipping out of them. also you can only use them on the floor. i always used a bouncy seat and swing and walker/exersaucer(sp)

i rly wanna get one, i think they r a lil over priced, mayb ill get one as a gift lol!....omg i never thought of the baby flipped out of it, that would b bad!

I don't like them, I just used the boppy pillow to help my daughter learn to sit up.

I liked mine, should have gotten a tray too bc we used it as a mobile high chair (on the floor of course) when traveling.

I saw the Summer Infant Super Seat Booster/Infant Positioner at Babies R Us and I would get this one over the bumbo. It can be an infant seat or booster seat, and has a tray with toys on it or used for snack time. Seems like you could get a lot more use out it than the bumbo.
