Is there a diffrence between a doctors urine pregnancy test and a HPT...Saturday i found out in the ER i'm expecting baby #4 and when i came home i was in such shock i desided to do a HPT and it was so faint it could be mistaken for a negitive...

I actually think that the doctors use the same test that you can get at the dollar store.... good luck!

Yea Im pretty sure the doctors test is more accurate.  If they told you that youre pregnant, I would go with that :)

If it was a first response test; I never get a strong positive. Actually everyone I have taken has been so faint it could have been mistaken for negative also. Go to the dollar store and grab a test.

a faint line is still positive....with this pregnancy i thought i was imagining it, it was so microscopically faint. I had to go get a digital test. And that faint line was a whole 2 weeks after my last period ended. Good luck

this time around i went and got a clear blue easy one i think it is,where it says pregnant or not pregnant because those light lines are hard to read sometimes...
