women who cant carry a certain gender...

So me and a lady at wrk were talking about our kids and our pregnancies with them,i have 2 girls and she has 2 boys,the subject of miscarriages came up,we each have had one,then she said something about how i probably cant carry boys and she probably cant carry girls,is that really true that some women cant carry a certain gender?what have u all heard on this?

No, I don't think that's true at all.

I know if the mother has negative blood and her unborn child has positive blood that could cause she to miscarry it.

RH factor can be an issue. I have that , my hubby is a positive blood type and I'm a rare negative. Have to get shots with each pregnancy to be able to carry. But the can't carry sertain sexes? Never heard of that.  I am having my third boy.  Would keep trying for the girl but turning 41 this Sept.

I don't believe that. I had 2 boys and then just gave birth to a girl 12 days ago

I guess it could be possible if you were a carrier of a gender specific disorder. Or a disorder that was only passed by the mother or father.
