HEARTBURN

I have heartburn almost everyday. And most days I don't even have to eat anything fried or spicy. But I read in What to Expect When Your Expecting that alot of heartburn can mean your child will be born with alot of hair. I have a 4y/o who had a head full of soft hair when she was born, but for the life of me I don't remember having heartburn at all during that pregnancy. Does anyone know if this is true or not?? And what can I do to treat the heartburn when it becomes too much to bare??

citrus foods or healthy foods with high acid can cause heart burn as well the list includes:

cranberry products

oranges

lemons

limes

tomatoes

pinnapple

strawberries

blackberries

grapefruit

brocoli

onion

garlic

pomegrant

any pepper (other than bell)

vinegar (this is in italian dressing & balsalmic)

these are all healthy foods that cause heart burn

a good healthy fixer skim milk or frozen yogurt.   if you don't like skim milk straight add chocolate syrup.

smoothies you can do with frozen yogurt in them as long as they don't have any of the fruits listed above in them.
