Did they say anything looked abnormal with the heart?  What is sounds like to me, is there might be something wrong with the heart (like my daughter who has a hole in her heart)... that can cause the baby to be under weight and have fluid in the lungs... but try not to panic... modern medicine can do some great things and take care of things like this!  I will keep you guys in my prayers, please let us know how the appointment goes!  And if it is the heart, I am here to talk to... my daughter is 18 months and we found a hole in her heart at her 6 week check up.  Hope everything is ok!

the ultrasound tech said the heartbeat was good.  I should have asked more questions but I didnt think, I dont know why and now they are telling me to wait till tomorrow to see the specialist.  Thank you so much for your prayers!! This is so horrible and I am trying to be strong, its just that this is so hard.  I just dont know what to do.  I am glad to know that your daughter is doing well!  And again thank you, your prayers mean a lot to us!

You are very welcome!  That is good that the heartbeat is strong, just hang in there!  If it was really serious they would have sent you to the specialist right after the ultrasound, so them thinking it is ok to wait a little is good!  I know it is hard to be strong, it is ok to feel scared and helpless, I know when you are told something is wrong with your child you feel you have to carry it all and be tough, but it is ok to lean on someone right now!  Keep me updated!

I agree, hang in there. It could be a heart murmur(spell??)I had one and I'm 20 now and it's been gone for most of my life. Praying for you, try to rest.
