i made these last night and they were awesome.

i did tweek the recipe a little when i did it though. after mixing the butter water and sugar to pour on top i only used about half because it seemed like way to much. and i sprinkled the top with the cinnamon instead of measuring it.

also if you try this it would taste alot better if you sprinkled the apples with cinnamon before you wrap them with the biscuit.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
  • 4 apples - peeled, cored and halved
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Butter a 7x11 inch baking pan. Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece of dough into a circle. Wrap one biscuit around each apple half and place, seam side down, in pan.
  3. In small bowl, combine sugar, water, melted butter and vanilla. Pour mixture over dumplings in pan. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until golden. Serve hot.

me to. i have a potatoe soup recipe but i dont really time or measure it but it is amazing.

take some potatoes i think your only suppose to use 4 but i use alot atleast half the pot if not more.

i think 3 cans of chicken broth.

one can cream of chicken soup.

(i mix the broth and soup so they are combined before i add the potatoes.)

one small onion finely chopped.

couple cloves of garlic.

ham or bacon however much you like. i think the ham was better.

then let that cook on low for like 8 hrs.

when potatoes are tender. take out some of the broth and put in the blender with a block of softened cream cheese and blend till its well mixed. add back to the crock pot for like 15 mins. then serve with green onions chopped on top.

everyone loves this soup.

I don't have a name for this chicken dish but it is delicious!

Ingredients -

Chicken Breast - Sliced Thin (I usually use about 6 pieces)

Proscuitto - I get a slice for each piece of chicken

Tomato - Sliced, one for each piece of chicken

Mozzarella Cheese - grated

Progresso Italian Bread Crumbs, the ones in the box

Lay the piece of chicken flat, add a slice of prosciutto and a slice of tomato.  Add some mozzarella cheese and then roll the chicken up.  Cover in bread crumbs.  When you are done doing this to all chicken put in oven on 350 degrees for about 30 mins - 45 mins.  It is delicious!!  I usually make it with the Lipton Tomato noodles on the side.
