Ok so I was young and dumb didn't know what I was doing didn't know I had options and I have had 3 c sections and scheduled for my 4th in nov. But now I'm kinda sad... I have come to the realization that I will never be able to experience child birth. And now I'm thinking about all the things that I could have and should have done but I can't go back now... So I'm sad. Does anyone else feel this way at all?

You can have a vbac. I've had two cesareans and would plan another vbac if I got pregnant again.

hugs!

You can always work for your preferences, never too late.

AND making choices we regret later on is all a part of Life and growing up.   Hindsight is 20/20...
I have this too, all the time.

One thing that has helped me to have better births in the future is to help others (doula work).
Even if you don't birth anymore of your own, you can have vicarious experiences.

Best wishes!

There is not a Dr within 100 miles of me who will do a vba3c I've called all of them. Plus all of the hospital regulations at all of the hospitals around me will not do vbac after 2 c sections and some won't allow it after one :(. Although I have decided not to.schedule the c section. And wait until labor starts naturally... That way I know baby is ready and I can experience the beginning of labor

That's a good idea to wait.
But you've been just talking with doctors?   How about midwives?   When we aim for a Normal Birth we can seek normal birth specialists...

;-)

"The traditional midwife believes that birth proceeds in a spiral fashion: labor starts, stops and starts, while the baby goes down, up and down, and the cervix opens, closes and opens.   Nature has no design for failure; she holds her own meaning for success."Sher Willis

The only reason I'm having a second child is so I can "give birth" as opposed to "have surgery".

Just kidding.

Kind of. :)

Look into alternatives. You could certainly have a vaginal birth under the right circumstances.

Hugs to you.

I think of it more as I wouldn't have my babies AT ALL or my life if I didn't have a c section, not as missing out on something! I did not dialate so if they didn't have "c sections" my beautiful boys and I would not be here! Thank god for c sections! I am so blessed!

I dont; however, mine was for my own health.  I woke up one morning, at the age of 18, completely paralyzed from the waste down due to a buldging disc in my back.  I had surgery immediately and corrected it; however, I still have the risk of rupturing another. I chose my 2nd c-sec (in Feb.) so that I won't be in a wheel-chair the rest of my life!

Aw. I had a c section but only cause my son was breach. I'm actually glad I got a c section. I'm sorry you feel that way though. Childbirth is an amazing experience
