Has anyone had or is anyone considerng a water birth?

I've had waterbirths and been to many more~ they are so nice!   Gentle and calming, really wonderful!

Where do you plan to do it?

I'm not sure yet. I'm going to talk to my midwife about it and I've got plenty of time to figure it out because I'm only 15 weeks along. Lol. I was just wondering what some personal experiences were. It sounds like yours went great! :-)

 
Yes, I can't imagine a land birth, from what others say about their births, it's sounds too painful.

Will you consider home, birth center and hospital settings?

I want to do the same. This will be a VBAC for me and I want no pain meds. I need to talk to my midwife to see if the hospital allows it. I really hope so!!!

I'm getting one at a birthing center in a (hopefully) a couple months :D  This is my first and I am not worried about it at all!

Water births aren't really my thing but there's a thread on here by HStarin who just did a water birth afew days ago. 8)

I have labored with all three of mine in water. Let me tell you I will never labor without water. I have tryed three times to have a water birth. First time the water got to hot. My midwife felt so bad she forgot to turn of the heater. My second, only one at a hospital, which I will never do again. They did not allow water births. My third she was stuck on my pelvic bone. For an hour we tryed different postions. Once I got on the couch she came to fast to move to the water. Hoping for a future water birth.

No I wish my dh were more supportive of me giving birth somewhere other than in a hospital but he wont agree to it.

I'm hopefully having one when this baby comes in feb
