What does it mean to "Bump" a post?

I know that probably sounds ridiculous but i'm pretty new to this site (not even two weeks in lol) .... I've seen a few posts and they get responses that say "Bump" ... what does that mean?!?

just bumps your post so that it stays visible for other mom's to hopefully answer your question
