Orgasims during pregnancy?

Posted by   + Show Post

Does anyone else feel weird having an orgasim during pregnancy.  I am early in my second trimester and my sex drive has increased a lot.  But it feels weird to me to let myself have an orgasim (as much as I need one). I feel the contractions and somehow it doesn't feel right... my doc says its fine. anyone else in the same boat?

I have no problem during pregnancy... once I get in the mood I don't care if baby moves or whatever, and DH loves it when I orgasm during pregnancy because it's so much more intense he says

Thank you all for all your helpful words of advise... and letting me know I am not alone in this.. I Have been told by two doctors and now all of you that it is fine, and my sex drive is in overdrive so maybe we will see how it goes... Doc only said if I have persistant contractions lasting more than an hour or any spotting I should maybe lay off it for a couple weeks... Thanks all...

I don't feel weird at all.  My stomach tightens, but doc said as long as there is no blood, no harm.  I just wish I was in the mood - poor hubby, 3rd trimester has sunk in...

Can you have sex with a UTI??? When I sneeze I have pain that shoots through my pelivc area!! LOL My back is killing me and I'm having trouble peeing? Has anyone experienced this. I know that this isn't what this forum is about.

I don't feel weird if I have an orgasm, it calms me. I feel weird when I'm on top though because I look down and I see a bump that wasn't really there before. So when SO and I do have sex, I am not on top.

I would just get really annoying contractions after I orgasmed. It would be really uncomfortable for a few minutes.

It doesn't freak me out at all. The only thing that has changed for me is more senstivity, which is kind of nice :o)

Not weird for me. I am more in the mood while I am pregnant.
