Do you have to see your baby out of the womb before giving him/her a name?

at first I thought I would have to, but our girls have such huge personailities already, and are so different from one another it's crazy. Naming them came easy, the just wiggled right in to their names seems like

We always name our babies before they are born. This baby is Kenadie Autumn. I went through a big list of names and that on just stuck and felt right.

I'm thinking so. We had our names set in stone. Avah for a girl, Dominic for a boy. Well, we found out last Tuesday that we are team pink. The more I called her Avah, the more wrong it felt. I felt it was just all wrong! My mom is now pissed off at me because apparently she has a personalized blanket made. So I feel this heart wrenching gut feeling that Avah is just wrong. I may just need to see her beautiful face before I give her a name I guess

We picked out our first two children's names before they were born.  We couldn't decide on names for our third and fourth children until after they were born.

Both of my girls had names before they were born. Luckily their names fit them.
