I just got a positive on First response home pregnancy test which would put me at 4 weeks 3 days. The only thing is that is was our first month in trying. I got my mirena iud removed on Jan 3, 2012 with period bleeding Jan 4-9 (which I'm counting as my period to figure out a due date). Has anyone heard of being pergnant so fast and the baby going to term. I have taken a test for the past 3 days and the line just keeps getting darker so body must be making more hcg hormone like it should. Just worried have heard some horror stories and really scared about losing a baby. This isn't my first in fact its my fifth but still can't help but worry with being so fast after removal. My sister got pregnant ON the Mirena and carried a healthy girl to term. I personally would not worry if I was you.
I had mine removed August 15th. I bled from the 19th until the 27th. Found out I was pregnant September 19th. I am now 23 weeks pregnant with a little girl. She looks perfect and no complications with my pregnancy. The bleeding you had should have been enough for the uterine lining to rebuild itself. I wouldnt worry about anything. I had my mirena removed in Nov. 2011 and got pregnant in Dec. 2011. So far I'm 8 weeks along.
