Is Dr. always right?

So, I experienced spotting TWICE! the second time it was heavier but went away. Before I spotted, I have light cramps. Went to use the BR. and when i wipe, there was bright red blood on the toilet paper. Wiped second time, there was only a little bit. Wait for couple minutes, went back and wipe, nothing. But than later that night, i started have tummy pain for about 5 minutes. So i called my dr. Didnt get to speak with him but a nurse, and she say its nothing to worry about if its not bleeding like a period.

Should i be concerned or not concerned?

I am only 33 weeks and 5 days. Too soon! and I do not want a preterm labor. :(

No, your doctor is not always right. It is impossible for them to make a correct diagnosis over the phone.

If you are worried, don't hesitate to go to the ER or L&D

No Dr's are not always right. If I were you I would get it checked out. You can just go to L&D.

34 weeks is not fully developed. A friend had her baby at 34 weeks 3 days and she was in nicu for a month. 1-1-12 to 2-1-12 Not meaning to scare you op. but some posters don't have correct info. Go to l&d if ur worried

But also, you said you didn't talk to the doctor. You talked to the nurse, right? I trust my doctor 100%...the nurses...ehh! Lol

I don't mean to jump on you, just point out inaccurate info. :) 34 weeks is not full term. 38 weeks is and that is a very important 4 weeks in between! That's when the lungs and brain do the moat development.

Op, I hope all is well with you!

Did you have sex recently or have a cervical exam? That can cause bleeding that you shouldn't worry about unless it is heavy.
