Natural remedies for constant constipation needed

Sorry if this is TMI but I need some help. I tried prune juice but the doctor told me to stop drinking it because I got diarrhea. Something about electrolytes. Any natural ways to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I found just eating a bowl of cheerios everyday helped me out.  As far as electrolytes go, you can get little pouches to add to your drink or even just drink gatorade (although not the healthiest drink in the world).

I started eating quick-1-minute oats by Quacker in the morning with a glass of OJ and that keeps me very regular!

Thanks ladies for your suggestions. I will see which one works for me. Even though the doctor said I can take a stool softener, I hate taking meds! I have always had this problem it just got worse after getting pregnant.

Are you taking prenatals?   Stop.   They're what is causing it.

Oh, I didn't even think those could be it. I blamed it on whacky hormones, lol.

It's the iron.   You can try a vitamin with a lower dose of iron... or just get specific supplements (folic acid, if you're early on, fish oil, etc...).   Obviously eating right is also really important.
