First doctors appointment

I just called to schedule my first doctors appointment and they have me going a 10 1/2 weeks.  This seems too far out to me.  Especially for someone who already has high blood pressure and my OB has been monitoring it.  Thoughts?

I usually never had my first appt until 12 weeks or so.  It sounds pretty normal, but if you are worried about your BP, you could call and let them know that you wish to be seen sooner or see what they think too.  Good luck!

My first appt is at 11 weeks. I think it feels too far out but it seems pretty normal. I wish I could go sooner though lol I hate this waiting

it varies from doc to doc...last time i wasn't seen until about 9 or 10 weeks but we have different insurance and this place had me in at 5 weeks doing an internal ultrasound every visit

My first 3 pregnancies, they wanted to see me at 10 weeks. This time I went in at 6 weeks because I wasn't sure how far along I was.
