My doc prescribed it for allergies and it is pregnancy category C. I was wondering if anyone has used it before?

I stopped my allergy spray after reading that it is linked to cleft palette in mice... That scared me! But I know how miserable the allergies are when pregnant! Ugh.... Try a netti pot 3 times a day!

I actually have chronic sinusitus and am an asthmatic and have taken Flonase for years, especially during pregnancy. All of my kids were born healthy and happy with no side effects. In my case, if I do not take it and end up with a sinus infection, it will land me in the hospital with respritory problems and take it then too. Doctors do tend to be aware of what is safe and what isn't during pregnancy and wouldn't prescribe it if they didn't think you and baby would benefit from it. With regards to the netti pot, I tried that and did absolutely nothing for me other than cause pain. Not to mention recently so many people have ended up with a deadly parasite from using them.
