And STILL pregnant! I feel like she is never coming lol. All my friends who were due either before or same time after me now has had their precious babies. And here I am still pregnant. My 1st was born at 39 weeks and 5 days. No telling when this one will come. I have an induction date set for next week Feb 17th, I am praying she comes on her own before then. But starting to lose hope :/

I was there with my DD. 4 days late and no sign of her coming at all. My first was a day early. I had really high blood pressure so I had to be induced and wound up with a c-section because she just really really wasn't ready. Waiting is awful but it is best.

You can do it!! It is hard, those last few days, but that just means that baby needs a little more time to develope. Baby will be here soon! I know how you feel though - my second came (on his own) at 41w 6d.

Not a chance lol. I know the day I got pregnant. We were trying for this baby girl :) I was charting, and using my fertility monitor.

Sorry you are feeling down~   but why lose hope, you are only in the middle of the average (estimated due period.

Of course baby will come eventually, how wonderful you avoid the unnecessary risks by waiting.  :-)   Why induce if it's not Time yet?

Babies aren't all ready on Day 280, some take a few weeks less while others take a few weeks more.    Your baby knows exactly what she is doing in there.
;-)

The due date is only the mid-point in that month-long due period anyway.   Being within in it still is perfectly normal.

Just as a woman’s heart knows,

How and when to pump,

Her lungs to inhale,

And her hand to pull back from fire,

So she knows when and how to give birth.

Gotcha. Well baby must be mighty comfy. I have no clue.. I never tried anything aside from walking but I was already dilated so I don't know what works if anything. Had both of my boys at 39 weeks and was dilated to 3 by 34 weeks. I'm 35 weeks with my 3rd and no dilation. Crazy how different they are. I really hope you go natural before they want to set up induction! Good luck mama!

*hugs* The 17th is still a long way off. I bet she comes before then. Walk and try to have sex and bounce on an exercise ball.

Is it possible my body doesn't know how to let go of a pregnancy? I had to have an iduction with my 1st daughter even after my water broke because I was not contracting on my own. I needed a D&C afterwards because my body had held on to some of the placenta tissue. I had a miscarriage back in 2010, and needed a D&C to remove the pregnancy, then needed another D&C again because all of the tissue was not gone yet. I am starting to think my body loves pregnancy too much. lol.
