I read that its normal for your girl parts to swell up close to your 9th month. Well I'm 23 weeks pregnant and they have been swollen for awhile! Is it normal now? This never happened with my DD.

As long as you are not itchy or anything like that it should be ok. I was told the swelling has to do with increased blood flow. Ask your OB if you are worried about it.

LOL.  Mine have been swollen for a while now  (36w6d).  My doc said its normal, because of the increase in blood flow in your body.  Isn't it weird all the changes our bodies go through to accommodate our little womb dwellers?

In one of my pregnancy books I read that this is very common...It's just due to all the blood flow you have to baby....at least that's what I understood....some of those pregnancy books make me think I bought them in a totally different language...

I'm sure it is. You have a lot of bloodflow going down there now. If you're worried though - call your doctor.

Mine swells every now and then but it goes away. Maybe baby is laying on something weird causing it to swell. :( wish I was more help!
