Holy crap! I was on another website like this one earlier and commented on a womans post asking when did anyone else start consistantly feeling baby movement. I shared that I felt movement the first time at 17 weeks and have been feeling it everyday since 19 weeks (I am 20 +4 today) Then I guess I made the giant mistake of mentioning that I felt the baby kick with my hand on my belly the other day for the first time, and 2 times I had my hand on my belly and got kicked today. Apparently that is just impossible and I am a horrible liar. I got bombarded with "quotes" saying that was impossible because no baby moves all the time till at least 22 weeks, and that I clearly can't tell the difference between gas and a baby...oh and that I am just putting this in there to get other womens hopes up. WTF!?!?! Iam I in another dimension??? Not going to be visiting those message boards anytime soon! Damn!
Clearly all those other women have no friggin idea! Don't worry, with my 4th I felt light movements at 13 weeks and my husband could feel him by touching my belly at 17 weeks, lol
It really bothers me that people come to these kinds of sites to connect with others who are going through the same thing as them and to get advice and be around people who you can vent to and not worry about being judged. Also everyone is different with pregnancy, one may feel something earlier than others...or someone may mistaken gas for the baby, especially first time mothers, we dont know what to expect or what certain feelings are....but it doesnt mean jump their case for not knowing! you were just sharing your experience and YOU know what you felt, its messed up that they felt the need to pick a fight about what you felt in your own body!! people amaze me sometimes.
pre-pregnancy I was 100lbs soaking wet, so doctors and friends looked at me like I was crazy when I said I felt movement at 13 weeks. Nothing drastic but definitely a baby; not gas. And I've been feeling him move around since a little before 20 weeks! Now at 25 I can actually see my stomach moving when I'm sitting down. So tell those crazy people to shh, you know what your body is doing not them
Absomlutely! I don't get people most of the time! lol! I don't let it bother me. Thats why I like this site so much better than the other one. Everyone on that one is so judgemental! CM is way better!
