"Relations" during pregnancy

First of all, this may possily be TMI, so if you're sensitive, turn back now!

Anyway, ever since my first pregnancy (about 3 years ago), I've had pretty much zero sex drive. But I'm on pregnancy #2 and things have been "kicking in" a lot more now. I'm pretty happy about that :)

But DD in my belly apparently has other plans lol. It's really difficult to stay in the mood when I feel her start flipping around, and trying to wait for a moment when she's sleeping hasn't been working very well; she seems to wake up whenever my heart rate goes up lol. And don't get me started on trying to find a postition that works! Does anyone else have trouble like this?

I gave up! DH and I are on totally different wave lenghts when it comes to being in the mood. I am, he's not...he is, I am not. Now he feels weird about doing it at all since she moves around so much and he felt her kick! lol! I can't force him, and to be honest I feel gross and don't mind being celibate for a while.

Yea, I'm thinking we may have to stick with other "forms of interaction". Actual sex just isn't working lately. I don't want to just give up, though, now that I'm finally feeling it again after 3 years

If I didn't have morning sickness in the morning (before my bf goes to class) or at night (right around the time he gets home from work) maybe I'd have a sex life again...Guess it's baby's way of getting me prepared for when the baby is here!

I have not had a high sex drive for a while, but the last few weeks it seems to be all I think about, lol. My husband is LOVING IT! You have to experiment a little with positions. ok, TMI: the scissor position is good, or one we find works well is sit on the edge of the bed and he kneels on the floor, you can suppport yourself on the edge! You both just have to be willing to stop if you're not comfortable and keep changing positions until you find one that woks, my poor husband is worn out this week, it's like we're rediscovering sex again

hahah yes! in my 2nd trimester DS always liked to ball up making it very uncomfortable, especially on my back. I found that laying on my side was most comfortable. Not the best position for deep penetration, but it's not as bad on you. And That way controlling penetration, you're not giong to have as much hitting of the cervix. Other than that I'm not sure what else to tell you. That was the only thing that made it easier for DH and I.

We've tried a few different pocitions, and one I really enjoy is when I sit on his lap, basically. But I have a bad back/hips and DD is sitting low, making it worse, so any position gets painful after a few minutes :\ But we're still trying!

Oh yeah I have that problem so bad it made my sex drive zero. I'm 30 weeks and when we are trying she is kicking or moving around that and she's head down so I feel her head very low in my pelvic/private area so yeah doesn't really get me in the mood. I take care of dh though...lol
