Feeling very lucky!

I just am so happy about this I had to write it and share my happiness!

So the father to be of my little one is so excited. He has been more than supportive and I actually could not ask for anything more. I had horrible morning sickness until I hit about 12-13wks (I am now 14wks) and he was there for everything. He held my hair back and rubbed my back when I got sick. He went with me to the emergency room (both times I had to go) and sat with me as I got IV fluids and vitamins. He does everything I ask, most of it before I can even ask him to and does not complain at all. I do not think I could ask more anything more. He is so excited to find out if we will be on team pink or team blue it is crazy! He talks about it all the time with everyone. He was even on a “guys” weekend trip for a bachelor party and still managed to be amazing. He called me every morning and night to make sure I was ok. I just keep falling more and more in love with him and feel so lucky that I have him.

I know this all sounds either too good to be true or sickening to some. To me it is perfect and I could not be happier! I have watched so many of my friends go through pregnancy and birth with a man who does not support them at all. I have watched them raise their babies without much help unless they ask for it. This is not how it should be at all! Fathers to be should be there every step of the way to help. Sure, we might have to tell them what we need some of the time, or a lot of the time, but they should be there and be happy to help. After all, we are doing the hardest part of the work aren’t we?
