In labor, what was your favorite mode of pain relief?

Water! I sat down in the birthing tub both times and I was in heaven! I heard about it here, from Doulala :)

The epidural and afterwards the morphine drip until I tore my face up at which point I was switched to percocet

Making horse noises.

lol

I read in Ina May's Guide to Childbirth that loose lips = loose bottom. So I pfffffffffftttttttttd like a horse during contractions. That, and low LOW moans (think Barry White) helped as well.

Laughter my Dh had me crackin up in the labor room. Contractions didnt seem as bad when he kept my mind off of them....
