Hi ladies, Heres my story. In October 2011,found out I was pregnant with my hubby and my 1st baby and then later that month, i had an miscarriage. then a month later,In November 2011 had my first period. Since then, I havent had a period. starting back in 2009 my periods become regular i would have my periods every month for 5 days. but since my miscarriage had the one in November. Anyhow, thought I couldve been pregnant again, but monday took a hpt and it was negative and felt empty yet again :-\ so Im just thinking it could be my hormones messed up from possibly the miscarriage still. But I do have an doc appt on friday. Im sorry this is long, but looking for advice or anything i should ask my doctor or talk to my doctor about my period\pregnancy? I just am scared thinking that I now probably can not get pregnant again. I dont want to lose hope either. So if any of you mommas have any advice or ideas what i can do or possibly check with my doctor or talk to her about. Thank you ladies so very much!!

You should ask your doctor about PCOS. It is very common. I have it and take metformin to manage my blood sugar (I have prediabetes) and to regulate my cycles and help me ovulate.

just talk to your doctor..dont worry about not being able to have a kid..anything is possible..the doctors said my stbx could never have kids and now im 30 weeks pregnant. you will have a baby when your body is ready and when god wants you too!! good luck!

How old are you? I think you are saying you had regular periods until you got pregnant for the first time. You had a miscarriage in Oct 2011 and a period in Nov 2011. You haven't had a period since Nov 2011. That would be missing 2 periods. The doctor will want to make sure you aren't pregnant. I don't think there is much to be concerned about yet. The doctor may not want to do anything other than wait and see what happens.

I'm 25. Before 2009 I used to have irregular periods. Then 2009 I had regualr periods even up til my miscarriage. Like I said then November 2011 had one period and haven't had any since. I took a hpt Monday but it was negative. So I was just wondering if its my hormones possibly from my miscarriage or what to talk to doctor about and go from there. Anyhow thank you.

Were you on any kind of birth control before?  I was on the depo shot and for a year and a half AFTER my last shot, I didn't have a period...then it took 6 more months after I finally got it back to become regular...It was scary!

If you talk to your doctor, they'll want to do a pregnancy test on you...and then they'll go from there...I wouldn't stress over it, I'm sure it's just your body trying to work itself out.

it does sound like your hormones are way off for some reason....too much weight? too little weight? sometimes those are pretty easy yet common fixes....stress can also mess with your periods a lot! you are young though so i wouldnt worry. Sometimes it just takes your body awhile to get back on track! Good luck

I miscarried back in Dec of 2010 and I bled at the beginning of the miscarriage and for about 2wks after that. Then it stopped then I started spotting and then I completely skipped my period in Jan and didnt get it again till the end of Feb. GL!
