Is it when you wake up in the morning? If so try add extra pillows around you or get a maternity pillow when you sleep. Also you may want to look into a maternity belt to help relieve some of the pressure during the day. HTH!
Everyone says go to a chiropractor.I am 22 weeks and have horrible back pain but I would never go to a chiropractor. I just take a hot bath or some tylenol.

The only thing that has helped with mine in both pregnancies was heat.
So I would use a heating pad or sit in our car with the heated seats on. It takes the pain away almost instantly.

I had terrible back pain around one of my shoulder blades. It was, as if, I had a pulled muscle. A massage helped for all of about 5 minutes. I couldn't walk around for more than 5 minutes or do any house work. At the end of the pregnancy, grocery shopping was just plain awful. My doctor told me to take Tylenol PM. It will take about 45 minutes to kick in. The relief was wonderful.
