Ok, so my in-laws have booked a vacation to the beach in May. I will be 31 weeks. It is a 6 hour drive and we will be there for a weeks. I'm a litte iffy if I'll be really up for that amout of travel. This is my forst pregnancy. How do/did you feel at 31/32 weeks?

NEXT, MY family wants to go to the beach too, but can't go until later when I'll be 34 weeks. It's the same beach, so same 6 hour drive. I LOVE my family and LOVE going on vacation with them, but I'm not sure if I should push this same trip two times in a few weeks of each other.

I know it can get pretty uncomfy in those last few months, but please share your opinions! I'd love to go both, and I'd rther go with my family, but the in laws have had this planned for 3 months...

Please share your thoughts! :)

I flew home to TX for my moms funeral @ 32/33 weeks. My OB ok'd it and just gave me my medical files "just in case". I was fine, even with all the stress.

If your driving, I suggest stopping and walking every hour, etc so you dont swell up.

But I think you can travel until 36 weeks.

I would go...probably on both even. It's only a 6 hour drive, and its a "restful" vacation. Be prepared to possibly want to spend more time in an air conditioned hotel/house and make sure your family understands if that happens not to be pushy on getting you out.

Thanks, all. I hate to commit to both trips this erly. I have heard so many stories of how misserable those weeks are. While I'd LOVE a vacation, I don't want to get my hopes up
