So, I just recently found out that my boyfriend doesn't want to go down on me because 'the smell isn't that great.'

Now, I'll admit that I've noticed a difference since I've been pregnant. But, I guess I've just gotten used to it maybe?

I've heard other women talk about their girly parts being funny smelling and I think it's because of the pH change and hormones during pregnancy.

I know it's not an STD or an infection. I get my urine checked every time I go to the doctor, and if it were an infection, it would show up. I shower regularly and keep it dry the best I can, which is sort of hard w/ the super urine leakage accompanied by the 3rd trimester. lo.

I guess I'm just looking for confirmation from other pregnant women that there is a difference in the smell down there for them, too.

Well, after I finally got him to tell me why he was reluctant to do it, he suggested that if it would make me feel better. But, now I'm worried that he'll just lie to avoid hurting my feelings. He said he wouldn't, but you know what I mean? It's not like, my favorite thing to do sexually and I don't mind not doing it, so maybe we just don't do it until after the baby is born and then see.

My husband hasn't tried oral on me since I found out, but I have noticed a different odor.  It's not necessarily "icky" but just different. I have a lot more discharge than when I am not pregnant so that has something to do with it.
