So, I just recently found out that my boyfriend doesn't want to go down on me because 'the smell isn't that great.'
Now, I'll admit that I've noticed a difference since I've been pregnant. But, I guess I've just gotten used to it maybe?
I've heard other women talk about their girly parts being funny smelling and I think it's because of the pH change and hormones during pregnancy.
I know it's not an STD or an infection. I get my urine checked every time I go to the doctor, and if it were an infection, it would show up. I shower regularly and keep it dry the best I can, which is sort of hard w/ the super urine leakage accompanied by the 3rd trimester. lo.
I guess I'm just looking for confirmation from other pregnant women that there is a difference in the smell down there for them, too.
Yes maam! You are not the only, one! Except.. weird, my husband would rather go down on me when I'm pregnant.. Maybe he's just a nasty freak! LMAO :)
oh yes! and i am glad you posted this, because i felt like the only one that thought i had this problem! I was going to ask my doctor at my visit this week if it was normal! haha
Quoting kblpooh:
What about taking a shower before you dtd to help with the smell?
Well, after I finally got him to tell me why he was reluctant to do it, he suggested that if it would make me feel better. But, now I'm worried that he'll just lie to avoid hurting my feelings. He said he wouldn't, but you know what I mean? It's not like, my favorite thing to do sexually and I don't mind not doing it, so maybe we just don't do it until after the baby is born and then see.
