But other then this, the baby boy was looking good and he was just a kicking away.... :/
I seriouslly hope it was just a one time thing and i don't develop preclampsia. If so they have to start with steroid injections at 24 weeks (21 weeks now) and "safely" deliever between 34-36 weeks!
Anyone else had any similar issue? Or had preclampsia?
And jeeze you went through hell!!!!
Quoting Fightclmembr:
I had preeclampsia but it developed very suddenly at the end. My bp was high for me, in my 24 hour urine catch my protein was over 7,000! I had headaches, saw stars, had epigastric pain, and when I had labs drawn in the beginning of my induction my liver was not functioning and I had zero potassium. The lab thought I was dead, and sent someone back up to confirm. Since I wasn't dead they wanted more blood. I ended up getting stuck over 15 times during my stay. It was awful. But after I had my DS I started to feel so much better and my bp went back to normal and my liver started to function.
I had severe pre-e at the end, no headaches, no swelling, I felt fantastic! My BP was 145/95 and my protein was 25,000, so obviously I had to have her. Luckily I was almost 37 weeks and DD didn't need NICU time. You can totally have high BP without having pre-e, PIH or pregnancy induced hypertension. To be diagnosed with pre-e, you HAVE to have protein in your urine, high BP, and usually there is liver/platelet involvement. Swelling is no longer a diagnosable symptom
oh wow, I hope it was just that time... Are you trying the Brewer Diet?
