It was only once last week. And I know a lot of other women have smoked during pregnancy too (did my research before doing anything promise!)
To those of you who have smoked while preggers: how far along were you? any regrets?
don't bother bashing please :/
I go to the doctors today, i can't wait to see his response since we never really talk (it's irritating how little i get the chance to talk to him since he always seems to be in a rush). from what i've read, baby's come out just fine though.
How often did you smoke?

i did at a couple of months and my DS is perfectly fine...the only thing dr told me was that it is not good but the only thing it could do to child is make the newborn fussy a lot

my sister swears that this was the only thing that kept her from getting sick during her 3 pregnancies. By the way all three of her children were healthy, fat, happy babies, and now are all in school and making great grades. STILL at ages 14, 12, and 8 they haven't shone any sines of learning disabilities or health issues. She however lives in Monterey, and she cooked it in her food and made tea out of it (because were just not smokers of anything) but i would think the effects were about the same for her. I do know that in the states if your doctor knows your smoking pot they will warn you once then check you again(pee or blood test) if you come up positive they tent to contact child services. It really depends on you doctor, and they will test babies first stool to see if there is any thc in it. If that come back positive then i know they contact child services. Im not knocking what you did cause i think you and baby will be fine, but i would consider the consequences of having all those people up in your business. Good luck hun

Lol I do every day (35w) and my sil did too. Her baby is literally the calmest happiest sweetest baby ever. He sleeps through the night, hardly cries, and beat feeds like a champ. We both use a vaporizer to avoid actually "smoking" which does give off harmful chemicals. But the thc itself is actually so beneficial to the baby. Not to mention it saved meeee and the babys life in this pregnancy as I was diagnosed with hyperemisis gravadarum. It was all I could do to get some actual food in my stomach.

This is not meant to be bashing, I'm legitimately curious whether or not you care that it's illegal and you are posting about it o a public forum?
depends on what state she in as to rather or not its illegal, and this may be a public forum but no one is policing it. Were all here to give each other feedback and be supportive. That's not to say were not entitled to our own opinions, but lets not judge. Just sayin
With dd I had hyperemesis really bad. I ended up in the hospital. None of the prescriptions worked. Doctor said it would work. So I smoked with her about once a day or so. I started smoking when I was 5 months along and smoked until she was born.
My 2nd ds- smoked until I was 7 months.
18 weeks now and smoking daily. My doctor knows and hasn't said anything at all about it.
