It was only once last week. And I know a lot of other women have smoked during pregnancy too (did my research before doing anything promise!)

To those of you who have smoked while preggers: how far along were you? any regrets?

don't bother bashing please :/

I'm totally against it.  I just think it's wrong and selfish.

I wasnt going to respond because of some of the comments but I will say this me and my sister are pregnant at the same time I am alittle further than her and she actually has a perscription to do it. So, for everyone bashing the post if a dr perscribes it to you how do you feel. Because I am quit offended knowing that she has a perscription while pregnant that her dr feels suitable for her. So, are you saying she is putting her child at risk because if thats the case what about all the woman that are high that take other medications while pregnant like myself I take meds daily for hypothyroidism else my little one would have miscarried a long time ago. I am not the one to past judgement for this reason who is to say anything wont hurt your baby while pregnant just like all the foods we arent suppose to eat that many woman do and the rules as far as sex after delivery its many things that people dont follow that they should so to each there own. Also, my sister is 28 not young at all.

Baby will probably be fine if it was just once. Really have to be careful.

I'm actually very interested in this. I'm not a pot smoker nor have I ever used recreational drugs but I do like to learn new things and I truly find this fascinating. Not my particular "thing", but to each their own. I've learned a lot by reading through these responses and this post. Good luck with everything!

I smoked all 9 months with ds. I stopped smoking with this baby about a week ago. And im still debating weather I am going to smoke tonite or not Ds didnt have any side effects from it. He was born 8lbs 6oz, and perfectly healthy. He is one of the smartest babies I have ever met. There are mixed reviews but it all boils down to there is no proof that marijuana harms a baby nor that it doesnt. You can find just as many studies that show that marijuana is good for your baby as you can ones that say it can harm your baby.

I never smoked weed while pregnant. But I did have a friend who did. It was the only way she could eat or sleep. She was miserable!! With my first pregnancy my dr told me to keep smoking cigarettes. I went to a high risk dr cuz my DD had a genetic disorder. When I quit smoking my stress went through the roof and he said to smoke 1-2 a day to relax myself. With DS I stopped at 7 weeks (found out I was preggo at 6). I've smoked for 8 years so quitting cold turkey is hard.
