I wouldnt use that name either middle yes but not the first i like ur boys names they are really cute my daughters name is Kylie Joyce do not like the name Joyce but thats my grandma name and she died of breast cancer so i wanted my daughter to have a piece of her!

thats my grandmothers name. while i like it i wouldnt use it for my kids name lol...maybe as a middle name if anything

Yea but its hard to find a first name that goes with it lol ugh i just hope its a boy if it is it will have to be thomas something because in his family every first born son of a first born son is named thomas

I think in your case it has great meaning on why he wants to use it. You have to remember its many names other people wouldnt use and name that others have used that you wouldnt. If its a girl I am pretty sure you could place a piece of you in there to spice it up.

Shirley is a nice name.  Not many girls have this name.  I hope that the two of you can come up with a nice compromise.
