Its definitely black my cell camera sucks it goes all up that pole to the ceiling

I'm not an expert in mold, but it is probably definitely a good idea to get it looked at, some molds can be as deadly as Anthrax.

It looks pretty black to me. I would def. be getting rid of it asap. Good luck. I agree--you may just want someone to come in and evaluate it in case it is in other areas of your home.
