So for those of u whose water has broken prior to getting to the hospital how do u handle ur water leaking from the time it's broken until the time ur in the hospital?

With my first I used a pad but that was soaked and overflowing before I even got to the hospital.

With my second, don't laugh!!! I was deperate... I got one of my DD's night time diapers and stuffed that sucker in my shorts. Lol >.<

Anyways So obviously I leak alot and fast and up don't want to sit waiting to be admitted all wet. What did u do or what will u do?

I've never been pregnant but, I would probably buy some depends lol. At least I know there wouldn't be too big of a mess.

Good luck with finding a solution. It was just a thought. And congrats on the pregnancy!

Me too for my first, and I was cold and wet!!! Ughh it sucked. Once I got to L&D and put on the robe I was fine but before that it was miserable. I'll prob cut up a diaper again lmao. It held until we got in the first room but I was all bulgy and felt funny.

Ok so my water broke at home with my first. I didn't know if I should go to the dr right away so I called my dr and went there. I had only a few tiny gushes on the way there. Not enough to soak through. Well at the drs office I was sitting on the table and had more gushes. I actually changed the paper on the table before the dr came in. I was embarrassed! Lol hubby was laughing at me. After that I really didn't have any more gushes or leaks.
